A WARM WELCOME AWAITS YOU AT HEATH HOUSE
Set in five acres, in Ossett Wakefield, this early Victorian house was built in 1884 by Henry Greaves, a local mill owner, for his new bride. Heath House was sold to the Wilson family, who are still owners in Chickenley Head. They divided the house, built the west wing and staircase and lived there as two families, father and son, until grandfather Wilson retired to the coast at the end of the war and the house was purchased by my parents in 1945. We take great pleasure in sharing our home of 79 years with our guests and aim to provide excellent value at an affordable price for the business travellers, families and tourists.
All our rooms are en-suite and are individually furnished with TV, central heating, tea, coffee, plus fan heaters, electric blanket and spare duvets, full fire alarm system for total comfort. There is extensive parking and a lock up garage for motorcycles and bicycles.
